Frameless Chanel Glass Balustrade / Handrail - H Channel- Silver Anodised Aluminium Extrusion c/w Optional Stainless Steel Cover Trim or Powder Coated Mat Black Trim & 10mm Toughened Glass 0.36kN / 0.74kN or 22.6mm SGP Laminated Glass to 1.5kN 

(Tested to BS6180:2011)
• Select from the drop down on the glass size: 300mm, 600mm, 990mm w x 1100mm h (actual glass height is 1080mm - finished height when installed into aluminium track is 1100mm FFL)
• Optional add on is Grade 304 Stainless steel U shaped Channel / Capping / Handrail - clips / sits on top of the glass fixed with rubber inserts
• Optional add on 90˚ Corner Section (150mm)

10mm Toughened glass for 0.36kN / 0.74kN/m according to BS6180:2011 thus suitable for for residential/domestic/home/office or areas not subject to overcrowding 

22.6mm SGP laminated glass for 1.5kN -  areas where people may congregate/public walkways, retail, bars, restaurants etc under 3m or over 3.0kN for public/crowd loading areas over 3m wide ie. bars & Shopping malls, cinemas, sports arenas (check with building control for what spec is required for your individual project needs)

[Stainless Steel cover plate] 304 Grade stainless  cover over heavy duty extruded aluminium extrusion suitable for interior & exterior use. 45mm w x 123mm h. for clean minimalistic finish, concealing ground fixings (fixings not supplied)  Note, for coastal / marine environments, 316 grade is recommended. 

[Suits 10-22mm Toughened Glass] Low Iron Ultra Clear glass Toughened to BS EN:12150, Simply tighten hex grub screws to clamp down on the glass via rubber inserts to secure until firm. Supplied complete with all fixings.

[Wide range of sizes to suit virtually any length run] Glass sizes 1100mm High x 300mm, 600mm or 990mm wide allowing you to cover virtually any area with a combination of stock glass sizes - if you need a bespoke cut we can do it subject to a lead time. Note 5-10mm spacing recoemend between each glass panel.

[Additional stainless steel handrail/capping can be fitted to the top] U shaped channel handrail c/w rubbers can be fitted to the top of the glass to finish or for walk way areas

Emphasis is made on ensuring the stainless is well cleaned before 'hand over' as it is likely that the surface has been contaminated during storage, fabrication and transporting. This is true regardless of which grade of stainless is chosen. Where 'rust' has appeared on the surface which is called 'tea staining', a mild acid cleaner such as white vinegar or a specialist stainless steel cleaner can be applied with a microfibre cloth. This information should be passed onto the end user to help avoid any complaints after installation. 

Note - Cover is Stainless steel and requires specific angle grinder cutting blade to cut.
